Pensacola CRC Placement and Release
FDC lists Pensacola Community Release Center as a satellite of Century Correctional Institution and describes it as an 84-bed Community Release Center. The placement can be part of transition, but the person remains in an FDC program and custody setting. “Community release” in the facility name must not be read as a completed discharge.
Return to Century CI, movement to Century Work Camp, or transfer to another FDC institution is a location change. A completed prison release appears in Inmate Release Information. If state supervision follows, the person can also appear in the Supervised Population Search. These records can overlap because leaving an FDC placement and ending every form of state control are separate events.
Pensacola CRC Release Destinations
After final FDC release, a person may go to an approved community destination, report to a field-supervision office, or enter another agency's custody. Conditional release, parole, probation, and community control have different legal sources. The detail should be reported with its actual label.
Section 944.611 addresses transportation for some eligible state releases but expressly excludes community work-release releasees from that provision. It does not promise transportation from Pensacola CRC. The approved destination, supervision instructions, and any receiving hold should be confirmed from the individual's records.

Confirm Pensacola CRC Discharge
FDC's release database contains people already released or scheduled for release and updates nightly. A future Current Release Date is useful for planning, but it is not the final event. The completed Release Date and Date Out-Custody are better proof after departure.
- Open FDC Inmate Release Information.
- Search by the six-character DC number when possible, or enter the full name.
- Match the photo, alias information, identity, offenses, and DC number.
- Read the actual Release Date. Treat a future date or “TO BE SET” as nonfinal.
- Use the population search when no release appears because the person may still be at Pensacola CRC or another FDC location.
- Check supervised-population information for any term that follows prison custody.
The official FDC release form is the proper state route.
The county's JAIL View should not be used to decide whether a Pensacola CRC placement ended because county and state systems cover different custody.

Pensacola CRC Release Date Rules
An active FDC detail labels its forward-looking field Current Release Date. Section 944.275 calls the gain-time projection a tentative release date and the sentence endpoint after lawful credit the maximum sentence expiration date. A completed release record shows the actual event. Gain-time awards, restoration, forfeiture, and review can change the projected value.
Eligible modern offenses can receive incentive gain time, subject to statutory exclusions and an 85-percent minimum service rule. The rule is not a guarantee that release occurs at precisely 85 percent. Court credit, mandatory minimums, concurrent or consecutive terms, new sentences, eligibility limits, and detainers may all change the calculation or destination.

It does not establish a separate current street address or telephone number for the CRC. The parent institution contact can route an operational question, but its street address should not be presented as the CRC's own verified visitor location.

The screenshot supports the organizational relationship. It does not show that someone assigned to Pensacola CRC has already been released from FDC.
Pensacola CRC Release Records
A public detail may omit a full movement history, release authorization, sentence-computation worksheet, or receiving-agency information. FDC Public Records is the route for a specific state document. Name the person, DC number, Pensacola CRC, approximate dates, and exact record in the request.
The FDC public-records page lists its custodian at 501 S. Calhoun Street, Tallahassee, FL 32399 and assistance at 850-717-9774. Ask the sentencing court for certified judgments and amended sentence orders. Ask FCOR for its parole or conditional-release action.
A narrow request is preferable. “All records” can gather unrelated material, while a request for the movement entry, final release authorization, or receiving-agency field focuses on the event being verified.
After Pensacola CRC Release
FDC field officers supervise probation, community control, parole, conditional release, and other state orders. Search the supervised-population database after the actual release when legal control may continue. It may show supervision type, beginning and termination information, and the assigned office.
Escambia County lies in FDC Circuit 1, but a person should use the office on the current detail rather than assume a Pensacola assignment. Supervised data are fully refreshed weekly, with termination dates and locations updated nightly. A short delay can therefore exist between an event and every displayed field.
Federal supervised release belongs to United States Probation and the federal court. Escambia pretrial release is also separate. Neither should be described as FDC supervision merely because the person is in Pensacola.
Pensacola CRC No-Result Checks
A missing release result does not prove discharge. The person may still be assigned to Pensacola CRC, may have transferred within FDC, may appear under an alias, or may have a scheduled rather than completed release. Search the combined FDC database and remove narrow name filters.
A DC number is stronger than a name. FDC numbers contain six characters and are either numeric or one letter followed by five digits. Compare the photo and offenses before concluding that a result belongs to the right person.
