Information You Choose to Send
A name, location, or other term entered in a search box is passed to the independent provider that operates that tool. Escambia County Released Inmates does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's privacy rules apply to information it receives.
If you send an email or another direct message, we keep the message and contact details long enough to answer and manage the exchange. We do not share that correspondence outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Technical Data and Cookies
Ordinary web operations may record technical facts when a page loads. These can include an IP address, browser and version, device and operating system, pages viewed, time spent, referring page, and timestamps. Cookies help measure how visitors use the site and support some site functions.
You can block or delete cookies through browser controls. Parts of the site, including partner features, may respond differently when cookies are disabled.
How Data Is Used
Collected data supports the limited work needed to operate and improve the site.
- Keep pages available, stable, and responsive.
- Send a chosen search request to the appropriate partner tool.
- Measure which pages and resources visitors use.
- Find errors, abuse, or other technical problems.
- Display advertising that may reflect general interests.
Links and Outside Services
Links lead to Escambia County records, Florida corrections resources, courts, federal locators, and outside search tools. Once you leave this site, the destination's own privacy policy controls its collection and use. Advertising providers may use their systems to measure activity across sites for interest-based ads. That tracking occurs under their practices, not this notice.
Parties That May Receive Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be handled by search partners processing a query, analytics services measuring traffic, advertising networks serving ads, and government or law enforcement bodies responding to a valid legal order.
Reasonable Security Measures
We use customary safeguards suited to a public website and limit direct-message data to operational needs. No internet service can promise perfect security. This notice therefore does not claim that transmission, storage, or an outside service is breach-proof.
Visitors Under Eighteen
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor sent personal data may use the Get in Touch page to request review and deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and verification, you may ask for a copy of personal data held directly by us, request correction, ask for deletion, or object to certain processing. These choices do not control records held by Escambia County, Florida agencies, courts, or search partners. Requests about those records must go to the relevant custodian.
Changes to This Notice
This privacy notice may be revised as site practices or legal duties change. A revised version takes effect when posted here with its new effective date.
